The Homebound/Hospitalized Instructional Program consist of a face-to-face instructional component, where teachers visit the homes or hospital settings for student instruction and a virtual instructional component where students receive online instruction.
A homebound or hospitalized student is a student who has a medically diagnosed physical or psychiatric condition which confines the student to the home or hospital and is to be absent from school for a minimum of 15 consecutive school days. The medical diagnosis is to be made by a licensed physician.
